Message i've got shot bearings in my T-5 tranny from not having a pilot bushing, which caused the input shaft to move up and down during driving, which moved the bearings up and down (in my mind, wallowing out the transmission bearing supports or the bearings themselves), not to mention that it wallowed out the crankshaft so bad that when i put a new bushing in, it fell out. now, you probably learned when you pulled that bushing out that its supposed to be in there firmly... Nothing a little marinetec wouldn't fix, but the tranny still whines.
but enough about my whoa's, what do you think caused the bushing to get distorted as such?
